The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply is the largest global organization associating professionals in the field of Procurement. Its primary goal, as a non-profit organization, is to increase the knowledge and purchasing competences of its members - both individual and corporate.
The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply is the largest international institution associating professionals in the field of purchasing. It is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to increase the knowledge and purchasing competences of its members - both individual and corporate ones, and thus raise the profile of the profession of "merchants" in the organization. CIPS, among others trains and certifies purchasing organizations of the world's largest companies from many industries, including: from the oil, pharmaceutical and financial industries.
CIPS was founded in 1932, and in 1992 it received an elite royal charter. It currently has 200 members, operates in over 000 countries and is currently the largest and most prestigious purchasing organization in the world.
Since June 2014, we have been the exclusive CIPS Partner in Poland and we successfully spread best purchasing practices by training and assisting both professionals and corporations in the certification process.

We prepare an assessment of the knowledge and competences of purchasing employees based on a dedicated online questionnaire (Sourcing Knowledge Questionnaire).

Multidimensional study of the level of development of the purchasing function in the organization based on a comprehensive comparative analysis with developed international companies and the international CIPS Purchasing Standard (a set of best practices in Purchasing developed in cooperation with over 1000 Purchasing practitioners from around the world).
Indication of the competence gap and action plan to be implemented to enable certification at a given level. The awarded certificate is proof of the high level of development of the organization's purchasing functions and compliance with good international practices in this area.
In practice, the CIPS certificate is the purchasing equivalent of such prestigious certificates as CFA for financiers or ACCA for accountants and auditors.
The goal of individual development of CIPS members is usually to complete a several-year certification process, pass approximately 20 exams and at the end receive the title of MCIPS (Member of CIPS). However, the suggested courses depend on individual purchasing experience; for people with many years of experience in the profession, we have prepared special paths.
